Super large arbor spool, extremely light-weight, yet structurally sturdy. Ultra smooth stainless steel bearings on a chrome spindle shaft, perfectly balanced with a free-wheel and silent retrieve that allow high-speed line pickup ontothe spool.Butter-smooth cork/polymer disc drag for ultimate fighting control. Straight-forward LH/RH retrieve change. Prototype Feather-Lite Fly Reel was torture-tested on British Columbia's famous Quesnel Lake, on trophy-sized rainbow trout.
